Dressage

Dressage is described as the highest expression of horse training where horse and rider are expected to perform from memory a series of predetermined movements. Competitions are held at different levels. Apart from competition there is also classical dressage in which the traditional training is pursued as an art form. The competition also has a formal dress code. Currently no dressage is held at the Malta Equidrome but this will change once the Equestrian Arena in the first phase of the project is ready. In Malta it is the Malta Equestrian Federation that governs this sport.
