Cherise Farrugia Wins FEGAT European Women Championship

This year’s edition of the FEGAT European Championship for Women Amateur Drivers was held at the Malta Equidrome on Sunday 28th April. 13 countries competed with the drivers taking part in 4 races. The competition was a very balanced one and was only decided after the last race when Malta’s representative Cherise Farrugia managed to win her last race to just snatch the championship from Dutch Hiltje Tjalsma. Third was German Julia Holzschuh.
