Call Jack Snatches Surprise Victory in EquestriMalta Grand Final

The EquestriMalta Grand Final for Premier and Gold Category horses left everyone breathless as it evolved in a high pace race right from the start ending in the most thrilling of finishes with outsider Call Jack just edging in front of odds-on favourite Crack Money.

Call Jack  made his debut in the first quarter of 2023 in the Gold category and this was his fourth victory from the 16 local starts.  Having won two races driven by his owner Ludvic Ghigo it was Carl Caruana who drove him to this magnificent victory having also previously won another race with him.

Trophy presentation was led by EquestriMalta’s Licencing Manager Josef Grixti in the presence of MRC’s Chairman Anthony Mifsud and Malta Equidrome’s CEO Matthew Brincat.
